Clean water is essential for the health and development of rural communities, and the Government has set a target that by 2045, 100% of the rural population will have access to clean water that meets standards. Vietnam has many water supply facilities, some of which have applied solar energy and energy-saving solutions, though they are not yet widespread and still face many limitations. Therefore, a guidebook has been developed to support the implementation of renewable energy and energy-saving solutions in rural water supply facilities.
